Dear Dharma friends,

I have the privilege and honour to follow His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa and Shamarpa's guidance, and became a Buddhist monk in Bodhgaya in 2007. Subsequently I was given the task to set up and run the Bodhipath Buddhist center in Taichung in 2008, the aim of the center is to spread Buddha dharma teaching, learning the bodhisattva way by adopting the Bodhisattva's attitude, develop wisdom and practice to experience a clear and unobstructed nature of mind.

I have also started producing TV programs about Dharma teaching on Taiwan Dharma TV station since 2012, the topics cover teaching of Karma Kagyu lineage, Bodhicitta and other Dharma knowledge.


In 2013 I was assigned to be responsible for Dharma practice and teaching by Karmapa and Shamarpa in our new monastery in Hualian, Taiwan; from 2014 regular puja and events will be organised in both monasteries in Hualian and Taichung, including regular Nyongye practice (thousand arm chenrezig fasting program) White Tara Retreat as well as other retreat programs in the pipeline.


With pleasure I am producing these DVDs for distribution and sharing, I would appreciate any comment or feedback you might have for future improvement. In this trouble time we are most fortunate this auspicious teaching come to light, may the precious teachings radiate and flourish, may we bring forth our full effort together to work for a better future.

閉關隨筆～15


一切現象真的是如水中月，但這不是我們學佛的終極目的，終極目的是回到平常處，在空性中找到一個不空的，給與自他一個安心踏實的生命寶藏。
但也不去執著。
Exclusive Notes :
The existing phenomena is just like moon in the water, but this isn't our ultimate goal in dharma practice.
The ultimate goal is return to purity.
Seek for reality, the intrinsic existence and its nature, from Sunyata - emptiness. Providing each other with practical ease of life treasures.
But the mind should not be overly clinging, or too particular about it.

心如虛空佛自現
莫顧晨昏暑與寒
花落春去山猶在
浮出寒江一月輪

Buddha would be seen, when the heart is in virtual emptiness.
Needless to bother day, night, summer or cold.
Flowers whitened along with spring; and the mountains remained still.
Full moon emerges from cold river stream.
** Full moon represents the very heart of mine.

六道輪迴一下子快樂一下子痛苦，一下子快樂一下子痛苦。即便到了天堂，我們還會墮落。所以說我們不要在這個框架中，不停的輪迴不息，過同樣的日子。我們一定要達到一個沒有生沒有死，沒有苦沒有樂的寂靜的狀態裡面，然後理性的去幫助其他眾生，那個叫菩薩道。

Shamar仁波切說：《紐聶》千手觀音菩薩斷食閉關，是懺罪很快速的法，是往生極樂世界的資糧。
Shamar Rinpoche mentioned: The Thousand Armed Avalokiteshvara Fasting Practice in retreat, also known as 'Nyungnay', is a very fast and effective method for the repentance of sin."
Rebirth in Dewachen pure land is among the merits of this practice.

奇妙又公平的「審判」
聖人是無我、是大我，他們什麼都不要，卻什麼都是他的。
Shamar仁波切的弟子每天在修法、在祈禱、在看顧上師的所有⋯⋯，等待仁波切的再來。
凡人是我執、我所擁有的，他們什麼都要，到頭來什麼都不是他的。他們的屍骨未寒，兒孫已經做好財產的分配，僅有的神識隨著業風飄盪！
我們呢？在學佛之後，「無我、無我擁有的」課題，當勤修學。

*Fair and Miraculous [ Trial & Judgment ]
His Holliness's selflessness is indeed an enormous sacrifice.
They want nothing, and yet everything belongs to them.
Each and every single day, disciples of Shamar Rinpoche practice, make aspiration prayers, look after their Guru's belongings, and waiting for his return.
Ordinary beings, through the force of greed and obscuring attachment, do all they can to safeguard everything they have, but at the very end nothing belongs to them.
It wasn't long after the burial, the children and grandchildren already busy arranging the property ownership; and the only consciousness left is drifting away, vanishing into the air.
What about us? Formal dharma sessions should always be followed by the diligent practice of Selflessness.
