Dear Dharma friends,

I have the privilege and honour to follow His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa and Shamarpa's guidance, and became a Buddhist monk in Bodhgaya in 2007. Subsequently I was given the task to set up and run the Bodhipath Buddhist center in Taichung in 2008, the aim of the center is to spread Buddha dharma teaching, learning the bodhisattva way by adopting the Bodhisattva's attitude, develop wisdom and practice to experience a clear and unobstructed nature of mind.

I have also started producing TV programs about Dharma teaching on Taiwan Dharma TV station since 2012, the topics cover teaching of Karma Kagyu lineage, Bodhicitta and other Dharma knowledge.


In 2013 I was assigned to be responsible for Dharma practice and teaching by Karmapa and Shamarpa in our new monastery in Hualian, Taiwan; from 2014 regular puja and events will be organised in both monasteries in Hualian and Taichung, including regular Nyongye practice (thousand arm chenrezig fasting program) White Tara Retreat as well as other retreat programs in the pipeline.


With pleasure I am producing these DVDs for distribution and sharing, I would appreciate any comment or feedback you might have for future improvement. In this trouble time we are most fortunate this auspicious teaching come to light, may the precious teachings radiate and flourish, may we bring forth our full effort together to work for a better future.

迎新除障，千手觀音紐聶閉關。大家遠到而來、參加法會,弟子巧遇自己的生日,或是此生的佛法難遇,找到了另一個新生而動容,抑或為探索不生的真理而生出使命?！
New Year Event ---Thousand-Armed Avalokiteshvara (Nyungnay) Retreat. Glad to see overseas devotees joining the puja. Student comes for retreat so happened is also her birthday. Co-incidence? Overjoy because precious dharma comes into this lifetime again ? Or Mission arises in the path of searching the Truth of everything is unborn .

The Thousand Arms Avalokiteshvara Fasting Practice, also called Nyungnay, is an important retreat practice during the Chinese Spring Holidays. Practitioners willingly expose themselves to the experiences of extreme hunger and thirst. Moreover, through the practice of the Yidam they arouse the inner qualities of the mind and investigate their vast potential. The outside phenomenon we witness is all elegantly presented itself . By invoking the blessings of the Dharma protectors, this New Year Celebration has turned into a very meaningful event!

在旭光寺院子裡,牧羊人為了幾口牲畜過日子

在旭光寺院子裡,牧羊人為了幾口牲畜過日子。也有Lama為了牧自己的心与道業過日子。同樣是牧~卻有不同的結果。
In Sharminub, local people are shepherding few animals for living whereas Lamas are shepherding their mind for life.They all are shepherds but with different outcome .

西拉仁波切/ Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche

西拉仁波切是在尼泊爾的原住民少數民族(馬蘭族~音譯)之一、這個族群百分之99信佛教。他每年春季帶群眾舉辦摩尼法會一個月之久,念十億遍以上的六字明。而且全部參加者精神抖擻！
他對大寶法王忠忱，對弟子慈悲,老實修行、推動僧伽教育,沒有架子。人人都喜歡他。此次他在百忙之中還特別為我的閉關功課口傳。
Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche lives in aboriginal tribute in Nepal which 99 percent of the population are Buddhists. Sherab Rinpoche leads grand puja for a month every year during spring time , chanting over 1 billion of "Om Mani Padme Hom" . All participants are tireless and enthusiastic.
Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche ,faithful to His Holiness , kind to students , actively promote monks education , not even a bit stuck-up. Everyone likes him ! Very grateful that he could squeeze time out of his busy schedule for oral transmission during my retreat in Sharminub .
