Dear Dharma friends,

I have the privilege and honour to follow His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa and Shamarpa's guidance, and became a Buddhist monk in Bodhgaya in 2007. Subsequently I was given the task to set up and run the Bodhipath Buddhist center in Taichung in 2008, the aim of the center is to spread Buddha dharma teaching, learning the bodhisattva way by adopting the Bodhisattva's attitude, develop wisdom and practice to experience a clear and unobstructed nature of mind.

I have also started producing TV programs about Dharma teaching on Taiwan Dharma TV station since 2012, the topics cover teaching of Karma Kagyu lineage, Bodhicitta and other Dharma knowledge.


In 2013 I was assigned to be responsible for Dharma practice and teaching by Karmapa and Shamarpa in our new monastery in Hualian, Taiwan; from 2014 regular puja and events will be organised in both monasteries in Hualian and Taichung, including regular Nyongye practice (thousand arm chenrezig fasting program) White Tara Retreat as well as other retreat programs in the pipeline.


With pleasure I am producing these DVDs for distribution and sharing, I would appreciate any comment or feedback you might have for future improvement. In this trouble time we are most fortunate this auspicious teaching come to light, may the precious teachings radiate and flourish, may we bring forth our full effort together to work for a better future.

When people are wondering how to help. Saving the survivors is definitely the priority during this critical "golden rescue and relief period" as it is racing against time . In the video , the fast pace how the Senior Director of International Medical Corp speaks and the emphasis of cash is what they need now so they can mobilise the supplies to help the needy . You can feel how impactful his speech is because of the sense of urgency he has .The sense of urgency in a catastrophe resulted from one who puts himself in the shoes of the victims.

Shamarpa最後的教授即說一切法無常。
無常並非意味著消極的承受，而是要更積極性的去面對和解
決問題,讓如此之困境得以轉化為新有的格局，如是才能使“無常”的真諦顯現。

若無常說出了現象界的脆弱。那麼真實的堅固性是什麼呢？龍樹菩薩云:布施波羅蜜多為堅固不壞。一切有為法如夢幻泡影,唯布施波羅蜜多不壞,且在未來際滋長出更多的果實。
佛經有云，有一凡夫見其寺院牆垣受損以無住心而為其修復,所得功德於未來世人間天上享受富貴,最後終證阿羅漢果。

Serious damage of Sharminub in Nepal Earthquake

Massive Nepal earthquake brought serious damage in Main Hall of Sharminub monastery and extensive damages in Swoyambhu monastery where elderly lamas and young ones have moved to Sharminub monastery for shelter ! 

The last teaching of Shamarpa is on Impermanence. 
Impermanence is not about passively and negatively bear the effect . On the contrary, it is about how we can positively facing and constructively solving the problem , as a result can turn plight into a brand new phase. This is the essence of Impermanence.

If Impermanence reveals the fragility of the world, then what is indestructible ? Nagarjuna once said 'Dana paramita (perfection of giving) is unbreakable and indestructible . All things contrived are like dreams, illusion , bubbles , shadows , it is only Dana paramita (almsgiving ) which is indestructible and can bear more fruits in indefinite future . 

Once said in dharma book, anyone who repairs the damage in monastery without any attachment , all the merits accumulated as a consequence can lead a prosperous and thriving life in limitless future, and will
finally attain Arahantship .

親愛的法友，

早上一場嚴重影響尼泊爾和鄰國的大地震，我懷著一份內心的悲痛一直關注其悲慘發展。

超過九百人遇難，還有大量受傷或失蹤者，和上千人失去家園。

我的祈禱會與這次災害所有的受難者：罹難者、受傷者和失去親人的。

我呼籲所有學生與我一齊為他們祈禱，點燈祈願回向，尤其儘力念誦觀音心咒六字明。

今天經歷了「接二連三」的「無常」

除了早上post 了兩篇巧合「無常」的文章。沒想到再遇「無常」。中午逛「誠品」書店，隨便拿起一本書，隨意一翻的一頁就是「無常」偈語。。
「人生就像夢一場，你也不必太傷心
前世劇本今世忙，悲劇喜劇輪流上
悲歡離合皆無常，有人出生有人往
。。。。」
世上唯一「恆常」的東西就是「無常」。
Today is characterized by "Impermanence" . Besides the first two postings I put in FB about "Impermanence " this morning , during noon time when wandering around in a bookstore , I randomly (when I say randomly, is it really as randomly as I thought it would've been...?) picked up a book and again, randomly turned to a page and this was the page --poem about Impermanence. 
"Life is a dream. You do not have to feel grieved .
This life is busy in acting for the script of the past life .
Sorrow and happiness , separation and reunion , is impermanent. "
The only permanent thing in the world is Impermanence

His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa in Nepal 2015

From 25th May to 8th June 2015 His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa will be visiting Nepal.

From 25th to 28th May, His Holiness Thaye Dorje will inaugurate  Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoches new monastery, Dhagpo Sheydrub Ling, which is located near Kathmandu.

The rest of Gyalwa Karmapas visit will be spent in Shar Minub leading ceremonies to
commemorate the first anniversary of Parinirvana of Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche.
