Dear Dharma friends,

I have the privilege and honour to follow His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa and Shamarpa's guidance, and became a Buddhist monk in Bodhgaya in 2007. Subsequently I was given the task to set up and run the Bodhipath Buddhist center in Taichung in 2008, the aim of the center is to spread Buddha dharma teaching, learning the bodhisattva way by adopting the Bodhisattva's attitude, develop wisdom and practice to experience a clear and unobstructed nature of mind.

I have also started producing TV programs about Dharma teaching on Taiwan Dharma TV station since 2012, the topics cover teaching of Karma Kagyu lineage, Bodhicitta and other Dharma knowledge.

In 2013 I was assigned to be responsible for Dharma practice and teaching by Karmapa and Shamarpa in our new monastery in Hualian, Taiwan; from 2014 regular puja and events will be organised in both monasteries in Hualian and Taichung, including regular Nyongye practice (thousand arm chenrezig fasting program) White Tara Retreat as well as other retreat programs in the pipeline.

With pleasure I am producing these DVDs for distribution and sharing, I would appreciate any comment or feedback you might have for future improvement. In this trouble time we are most fortunate this auspicious teaching come to light, may the precious teachings radiate and flourish, may we bring forth our full effort together to work for a better future.

1.《當法王的弟子不能窮》"The Disciples of His Holiness Can Not Be Poor!"

The spring of 2008, His Holiness Shamarpa Rimpoche requested that I go into retreat, but he also wished that I set up a Bodhi Path center at Taichung. Since I was busy with establishing the center during the following year of 2009, I delayed the plan to go to retreat. Then, His Holiness said to go to the United States to attend his Dharma course, to receive the Bodhisattva Vows and Amitabha Buddha Empowerment [in June of 2009]; then, I should join him at Hong Kong[in September]. While we were in Hong Kong, he then assigned me to go into a retreat in 2010 at Nepal. In December 2009, I went to Bodh Gaya, India to participate in our annual prayer meeting [in which all the disciples and followers of the lineage join together to pray for world peace also called "Kagyu Monlam"]. [We met again and] I reported that I would go to Nepal to see the progress of our custom-made statues ordered by our Taichung center right after the prayer meeting. By chance, His Holiness said my retreat may start early; [I should go to Nepal immediately and begin my retreat]. Although there were many changes and turns, but I knew the difficulties I experienced were insignificant compared to the disciples in the olden days. Since I took flights to many counties, a friend of mine jokingly said, "being a disciple of His Holiness can not be poor!" Another friend also reminded me that "the supplication for Buddha Dharma requires devotion. If one is not ready to do everything one can do such as spending some money, how can we receive anything at all?"
